Pilot Partnerships

Bring us one learning challenge. Let’s transform it together.

Vara is selecting its first university partners to co-design and test focused learning pilots.

A pilot begins with one course, module, or educational challenge — not a commitment to redesign an entire program.

Who It's For

A focused place to begin

A Vara pilot may be appropriate for a university, academic program, or faculty member seeking to:

  • Strengthen an existing online course
  • Create a more immersive module
  • Introduce a realistic simulation
  • Integrate practitioner experience
  • Support collaboration among learners or institutions
  • Develop more meaningful opportunities for application and reflection

What Each Partner Brings

Built with faculty, not around them

The institution brings its educational purpose, faculty expertise, academic standards, learners, and institutional context.

Vara brings learning design, media and production capability, simulation development, practitioner integration, collaborative architecture, and assessment support.

Faculty retain intellectual leadership and approval authority throughout the process.

What Happens First

The first conversation

The first conversation identifies the learning challenge, the current course environment, the desired improvement, and the boundaries of a manageable pilot.

Vara will then prepare a preliminary opportunity map describing what could be developed, what resources would be required, and what the next decision would involve.
